This Privacy Policy explains how the Sudoku mobile application ("the App") handles information. The App is developed and published by mahesh dodamani ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts. The App has no login and no user profiles.

The App does collect limited technical information through third party advertising services, as described below.

Data stored on your device

The App saves the following information locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else:

• Your current unfinished puzzle
• Your best completion times for each difficulty level
• The number of games you have started and completed
• Your settings, such as sound and dark mode preferences

This data is removed when you uninstall the App.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process:

• Your device's advertising identifier
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• Information about ads shown to you and your interactions with them

This information is collected by Google, not by us. We receive only aggregated, anonymous reports about advertising performance, and we cannot identify individual users from them.

Your advertising choices

You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalised advertising at any time through your device settings:

Opting out does not remove advertising from the App, but ads will be less tailored to you.

Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where required, the App will ask for your consent before showing personalised advertising, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time from within the App or through your device settings.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we do not hold identifiable data ourselves, such requests should be directed to Google, or you may contact us and we will help where we can.

Users in California

We do not sell personal information. Under the CCPA you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. As above, the relevant data is held by Google rather than by us.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Security

Game data is stored in your device's private application storage. Information transmitted to advertising services is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated within the App where appropriate.
